Fu Chun Shin (FCS) embraces huge potential orders in Chinaplas 2021

After a lapse of two years, the largest CHINAPLAS International Rubber and Plastic Exhibition in Asia first came to Shenzhen. During the four-day exhibition from April 13 to 16, 2021, the number of visitors reached 152,134, and it is worth noting that the official live broadcast platform has 363,000 views!

FCS showed brand-new models with highlights such as “all-electric”, “two-component” and “energy saving”. The model can be applied to multiple fields including hardware products, food packaging, optical parts and medical industry. A total of 5 injection molding machines were displayed in FCS at this exhibition. Except FB series two-component injection molding machine, all the other display models are driven by electricity. Undoubtedly, it was the exhibition with the most electrical applications in FCS history!

All the models on display are equipped with iMF4.0 Intelligent ManuFactory system independently developed by FCS, which can be used by all kinds of injection molding machine. Based on the development of production cycle time management, the overall equipment efficiency (OEE) is acquired, so that production managers can master the real-time production status. The newly established “Field Application Engineering Center (FAE)” of FCS this year integrates marketing and R&D technical resources. A total of 30% of customers in Taiwan Head Office have used iMF4.0 for production management, thereby reducing uncontrollable factors in the production process, improving yield and reducing unexpected downtime losses.

Although it is not a good timing to visit exhibitions worldwide, FCS still saw 670 valid visitors, with a potential order amount of about USD 3.45 million, and three exhibitors were sold on site, with a total turnover of nearly USD 400,000. FCS not only won wide recognition in Chinaplas 2021, but also achieved outstanding results.

Jerry Wang, Vice Chairman of FCS, said, “Orders rebounded in the second half of 2020. The first half of the year is full of orders, with an amount of nearly RMB 400 million. However, affected by the pandemic, the price of raw materials soared, resulting in restrictions on shipments. FCS hopes to increase its supply capacity and self-control rate in the future.”

Following is the introduction of those 5 displayed injection molding machines of FCS.

Advanced Servo Hydraulic Injection Molding Machine with Electric-Driven Injection Unit (FA-e Series) 

FCS launched the FA-e Advanced Servo Hydraulic Injection Molding System with Electric-Driven Injection Unit. It is a standard model adopted advanced toggle hydraulic and servo energy-saving design. With high specification and complying with international specification of CE, GB and ANSI. Equipped with electric driven unit for high injection speed and accurate control.

FA-160e shows 24 cavities mold of 5 ml medical syringe production and the cycle time is around 8 seconds, with the characteristics of high injection speed and high precision, which is suitable for multi-cavity or medical product molding.

All-Electric Injection Molding Machine (CT-e Series) 

CT-e Series is the 1st choice of the application of precision parts and accessories. The injection speed is up to 300 mm/sec, and the injection accuracy reaches to 0.01mm. FCS demonstrates the molding solutions of CT-220e and CT-50e on site.

FCS shows In Mold Labeling (IML) Turnkey Solution with CT-220e equips with WETEC Automation to display the IML biscuit container. The cycle time is around 9 seconds. It is suitable for thin shell container. By placing the printed label in the mold before injection and bonding the label with the plastic products during injection process, lML can produce high-quality products efficiently, cost-effectively and also environmentally friendly.

CT-50e produces PC optical lens in 24 seconds, applied on dashboard camera, which is suitable for optical element, medical products and electronic products.

All-Electric Two-Component Injection Molding Machine (CT-R series)

CT-R series is newly launched in 2020, Adopting multiple independent barrels for injection, greatly shortens the cycle time. The rate of servo rotary table improved by 30%-50%. It is suitable for multi-color products of “high precision and low pollution”, including medical appliance, cosmetic containers, optical elements, electronic parts, etc.

During Chinaplas 2021 exhibition, CT-280R with clamping force of 280 tons was producing the 6-cavity duo-color shampoo caps. The general molding cycle time is 12 seconds, which amazed the visitors extremely. FCS has sold CT-280R on the 1st day of the show!

Rotary Table Two-Component Molding System: FB-R Series

FB-R series, FCS 2K technology has been developed for over 37 years and it has been sold over 5,300 sets (USD 430 million), with clamping force from 140-1900 tons, which could apply on various field. Rotary table controlled by servo motor could shorten rotary time by more than 50%, with more stable rotary speed switch. With the product insertion function, three-component and four-component products can also be molded and applied on automotive lamp housing, livelihood supplies.

FB-230R with clamping force of 230 tons was producing the 2-cavity airtight container. Molding the sealed product combined with soft and hard plastic materials of PP and TPE. It is a good helper for kitchen storage. With the customized automation service to improve production efficiency. We have successfully sold two FB-R series during the exhibition.
