The 15th IPF Bangladesh is held by the Bangladesh Plastic Goods Manufacturers & Exporters Association and Chan Chao International together, the exhibition contains 574 exhibitors including Bangladesh, Taiwan, China, Japan, Korea and many more. IPF Bangladesh has created an excellent opportunity for buyers and manufacturers to communicate with each other, the exhibition covers three major industries, including plastics, packaging and printing industries. Many foreigners value the opportunity to meet more professional buyers from the exhibition, and are looking forward to the outcome this exhibition will create. Bangladesh officially upgraded from "underdeveloped country" to "developing country" status in 2027, this is a market full of potential. During the exhibition, we have also met many buyers that are starting their own business in the industry, and trying to find the suitable machine and products.

It is our great honor to have the opportunity to interview Mr. Shamim Ahmed, the president of BPGMEA (Bangladesh Plastic Goods Manufacturers & Exporters Association). In the interview, Mr. Shamim has shared many information about the plastic, printing and packaging industry, IPF Bangladesh is rapidly growing and gaining more exhibitors and visitors every year, their growth rate increased up to 20~30%. The 15th IPF Bangladesh is a postponed exhibition from 2020 due to the pandemic, let us watch the interview to see how IPF Bangladesh overcomes the impact caused by Covid 19, and continuously growing each year.

Is the Bangladesh market crucial to Taiwan? Let us hear some of our well-known Taiwan Manufacturer’s insight and observation.

PRM-Taiwan has never been to Bangladesh before, this is the first time we came to Bangladesh and exhibited at the 15th IPF Bangladesh industry fair. We noticed that there were quite a few Taiwan manufacturer exhibitors, thus, it can be seen that the Bangladesh market is crucial to Taiwan’s market. We have had the chance to interview some well-known Taiwan manufacturers and asked them to share their point of view and their advice on how to operate the market in Bangladesh.

Mr. Sumit Jalan, regional sales director of Polystar.

It is a great honor to invite Sumit from Polystar to share the changes in Bangladesh's industry after the pandemic and the differences between the Bangladesh market and the India market. Because of the pandemic, the amount of  plastic related items, including gloves, protective covers, cleaning supplies, etc... is highly needed. With the increasing demand for plastic materials, recycling is also a vital part of the process. Let us watch the interview with Sumit, he will mention how the government implements corresponding measures in response to environmental issues.

Mr. Jacky Chang, area manager of HCI Industry.

While at the IPF Bangladesh industry fair, we certainly couldn’t miss HCI Industry, which has been operating in the Bangladesh market for many years. This time, Jacky from HCI has shared his point of view on Bangladesh’s industry and how Taiwan does business in Bangladesh. We have talked about the differences between the markets in other Asian regions. Let's take a look at HCI Jacky's interview.

Mrs. Perrys Chang, sales manager of Worldly Industrial.

Worldly Industrial is a very well-known Taiwan manufacturer in the flexible packaging industry in Bangladesh. If you mention their company name locally, they will immediately know and also agree with their high-quality machine. It is our pleasure to have this interview with Perrys Chang, the sales manager in Worldly. In the interview, Perrys Chang has shared with us how to do business in Bangladesh, we have learnt that the aftercare and maintenance is important as well. She has also shared her observation on the industry after 3 years of pandemic, what policy or changes have Bangladesh made. Let us see the interview to know more about Worldly and how they operate in the flexible packaging market.
